Software maker announces latest edition to lineup

OTTAWA, Canada, January 20, 2005 - Slateboard Software Inc., a developer of consumer and business software applications, announced today the release of VehiCalc Car Loan/Lease Analyzer Home Edition. "VehiCalc is our first of six new products we plan to introduce in the coming months," explained CEO Robert Kennedy. "We sell loan software used by thousands of individuals and professionals and felt a leasing product filled a gap in our offerings."

VehiCalc Home Edition is the first of four new leasing related products that will be rolled out over the coming months. It includes a detailed lease payment calculator plus the ability to compare the true cost of leasing or owning a vehicle. As well, it comes with amortization schedules and tables, a solve for missing number calculator as well as dozens of bonus calculators.

VehiCalc is priced at $29.95US however when bundled with any edition of QuikCalc is only $9.95. Existing Slateboard customers are also eligible for an introductory price of $19.95.

Upcoming releases will include a Dealer Edition of the software aimed at small independent car dealerships, a Business Edition that will include equipment analysis and an Office Edition aimed at small offices needing vehicle and equipment loan vs. lease comparison capabilities.
